An advantage in the palm of your hand: the perfect product!

Well-engineered software or hardware means products that the user can easily grasp. The key to success is usability engineering: conceptualizing use. Good usability engineering couples complex back-end functionality with an engaging interface – while keeping cost-efficiency in mind.

You will avoid needless costs if engineering and design work closely together from the very start. Releasing a product before evaluation may require making immediate changes. The graphic illustrates hi.d’s focused approach – the design process based on ISO 13407.

ISO 9241: Usability is the product of efficiency and satisfaction.

The concepts and designs that hi.d develops are based on well-founded insights and standards in software ergonomics. At the same time, we view the development of products and design as a dynamic process. One that can’t be squeezed into a rigid mould of rules. hi.d creates the right balance between standardization and personalized solution for each product. Here, the foundation for development and the gauge for ensuring quality is usability engineering, with a focus set on >User Centered Design. The fruits of our interdisciplinary teamwork are products that the user will find “well thought-out” — to the delight of our clients.
